Winner Announcement_2020 Asia Pacific Social Innovation Partnership Award (APSIPA)
Asia Pacific Social Innovation Partnership Award(APSIPA) is a regional award advised by Executive Yuan, Taiwan (R.O.C.), and held by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan (R.O.C.).This year, there are 95 applications from 16 countries/economics, which is really an inspiring number especially in the challenging times.
In the final round of selection, there were 19 applicants selected as the finalist, who attended the final round of presentation on August 28, 2020.
The judging panel was comprised of some of the most influential social innovation leaders in the Asia-Pacific region: Audrey Tang (Digital Minister), Francis Ngai, Wah Sing (Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Social Ventures Hong Kong)、Laurence KWARK(General Secretary of GSEF)、Casper Ng (Head of the sector engagement & capacity building of raiSE, Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise.), Oanh K. Pham (the founder and CEO of the Centre for Social Initiatives Promotion), Ces Rondario (Founder & CEO of Impact Hub Manila), and Ken Ito (Regional Head (East Asia) of AVPN).
The judging panel had selected three cases from each category (Biosphere Sustainability, Inclusive Business, Social Prosperity）To encourage the social innovation fighting against the global pandemic, the judging panel selected a case as Special Jury Prize. There are a total of 10 winners who came from 7 countries/economies.
